Your class is invited to join the world during the Ottawa 2026 IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships, coming Sept. 9-19 to the nations captial.

Ottawa 2026 offers your students the unique opportunity to witness the best wheelchair basketball athletes in the world competing for gold in an environment that celebrates inclusivity, as well as the power of sport to unify and inspire.

TICKETS ARE FREE* for school groups! A $2 donation per student is encouraged in support of creating a world-class experience for our athletes. 

Each ticket includes the option to watch two exciting games at The Arena at TD Place, where students will cheer on international teams and feel the energy of a packed championship crowd. Final schedule and session times to be released at a later date.

Space is limited so reserve your spot today. Your school’s attendance will be confirmed no later than June 1, 2026.

Carleton University has  paid visitor parking spots available for use during the day. The closest lots to the gymnasium are P5 and P3.

Accessible entry to the building is available through Gate 1. Accessible seating can be purchased when selecting your tickets, and an elevator is available at Gate 1 for convenient access. For more information, please visit the TD Place website
