Four Teams Punch Their Ticket to Ottawa 2026!
The field for the 2026 IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships continues to take shape.
Following the completion of the 2025 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships, four nations have earned qualification and now join the list of teams preparing to compete in Ottawa next September.

🏆 Men’s Teams Qualified:
🇦🇺 Australia
🇯🇵 Japan
As the host nation, Canada automatically qualifies and will compete on home court.
Qualification continues, with remaining berths to be decided through the Africa Championships and the Repechage tournament. These events will finalize the full roster of teams bound for Ottawa 2026.
